April 1- 2nd, 2023
Raleigh, North Carolina

Dreamville is one of North Americas top Hip-Hop and R&B Festivals. Started by Dreamville Records own J-Cole in 2018 it now draws in more than 80,000 Hip-Hop and R&B fans. Located in Raleigh, NC' 's largest city park they offer parking as well as shuttles to the festival from downtown Raliegh. Headlining some of the industry's top artists in 2023 including Usher, Drake, J-Cole himself as well as Gorilla and many other great names.

Dreamville does not offer camping but with it being located in the city of Raleigh there are many hotel options within close proximity to the festival. With this being one of the more popular festivals in the country, the tickets are starting at $299.99 per ticket.

WHAT TO WEAR: If this is your first time attending a Hip Hop and R&B Festival, you may be wondering what to wear? Some of the hottest trends right now at Hip Hop and R&B Fests are athleisure. A cute bra & short set with a jean jacket on top with some cute braids, and your favorite kicks, will have you looking fly and feeling comfortable for a perfect weekend at the festival.

April 13th- 16th, 2023
Florence, Arizona

Country Thunder Arizona is Arizona's top country music festival for 2023. Don't miss out on this chance to warm up in the desert and enjoy tons of awesome country music at The Canyon Moon Ranch located in Florence, Arizona. Including some of today's hottest country music artists like Jon Pardi, Luke Bryan, Dierks Bently and Parker Mccollum.

Country Thunder Arizona has both camping and glamping available to enjoy the weekend fun without having to worry about driving in each day. The tickets to Country Thunder Arizona will run you anywhere from $297.00- $600.00 for the weekend.

WHAT TO WEAR: Country music is known for its American pride, and you will find that American pride all over in the popular attire that the country music fans sport at these festivals. Right now, some of the hottest trends that have stood the test of time for country music festivals are cut off jean shorts, with crop tops or an American Flag tee, some cute boots, and a cute hat to protect your face from the long days in the sun. Also- don't forget your sunscreen, sunglasses and lawn chairs for the endless good times and awesome music to be enjoyed from morning to night.

Get ready, because we are inching in on North Americas most well-known music festival. If you have not heard of Coachella yet now is the time to start looking into this festival. There is a good reason why Coachella is the quintessential destination for Instagram lovers. Not only does it feature some of the most well-known pop and electronic artists like Bad Bunny, Big World, Gorillaz, and Calvin Harris but it also has an awesome view no matter where you are. It's hard to not gaze at the skyline of Indio, California and not be awe stricken by the palm trees and desert mountains that surround you, accented by the festival's signature Ferris wheel and art installations. Not only that, but you are also sure to run into some of Hollywood's biggest celebrity's out enjoying the many stages of awesome artists.

Camping is available at Coachella, with many different options. You can tent camp, car camp or they do have a lodging option available as well for your weekend within the music vibes. Unfortunately, with popularity always comes a price. Coachella is coming in at the most expensive festival on our list with general admission tickets starting at $549.00 each.

WHAT TO WEAR: If your one of the lucky ones that gets to attend Coachella in 2023(please take lots of pics and share!!) then you are probably in the market for the perfect outfit for this year's festival(you can also check out my last blog for festival wear tips). Think Mesh, Leather, Fringe and boho chic. You are also going to want to find the perfect hats and headwear. If there is one festival that you can really make a statement with your head piece, Coachella is the place to do it.

Located in sunny Fort Lauderdale, Florida you can't go wrong escaping some of that unpredictable spring weather at the Tortuga Festival. This year they are celebrating their 10th year of holding the festival with an outstanding lineup of top country and hip-hop artists. Featuring Eric Church, Wiz Khalifa, Niko Moon and up and coming country music star Ashley Cooke, this is a weekend you won't want to miss. Not only is this music festival located in beautiful Florida, but it is also held for an awesome cause; to generate awareness and raise funds for ocean conservation.

With this festival being held on the beach in Fort Lauderdale there is no camping available, but you are right in town, so hotels are in abundance near the festival for lodging. Not only is this held at an awesome location but it's also one of the more affordable festival options, with the 3-day general admission ticket coming in at $275.00.

WHAT TO WEAR: You guessed it, with the festivities being held on the sandy ocean front, clothes really do not need to be in abundance to fit right in with the hottest styles. Get yourself a couple bathing suit tops or a cute crop top, some cute shorts, a light sweater or jean jacket to tie around your waist for when it cools off, some sandals and most importantly do not forget your sunscreen!!!

April 14th- 16th, 2023
St. Petersburg, Florida

If you are looking for something a little more lowkey than the previous mentioned festivals, then the Tampa Bay Blues Fest is right up your alley. Located in Vinoy Park in beautiful St. Petersburg, Florida the Tampa Bay Blues Fest is America's finest waterfront blues festival. Featuring some of the greatest blue's bands including Robert Cray, Tower of Power and The Dirty Dozen Brass Band, this is the perfect excuse to escape to the beach for a relaxing weekend jamming out with new & old friends.

There is no camping available at this festival but tons of parking is available if you have to drive or they also offer free festival shuttles from hotels in the area. You won't want to miss this fest, they will have awesome local food venders as well as full liquor bars, craft beer and wine. This festival comes in as the most affordable on the list with a 3-day general admission ticket costing you $175.00 each.

WHAT TO WEAR: If you are wondering what attire goes at a blues fest, just think free spirted and beachy vibes. With this being located near the beach the sunshine will be plentiful, so you will want a cute sun hat, something light and breezy like a bohemian romper or a swim coverup with a simple light underdress would be perfect. Some cute sandals, sunscreen and your lawn chair and you are ready for some sublime times listening to America's greatest blues music.
